You and your class or group are very welcome from Tuesday to Friday.

At Museum de Fundatie, educational programmes are available between 9:00 and 17:00. During the booking process, the calendar will show which time slots are available. Lessons from the museum programme last 1 hour.

A self-guided visit is possible at both of our museum locations. The start times for these visits are shown in the calendar during the booking process.

Yes, you can book a self-guided visit for secondary education, vocational education and higher professional education. This is not possible for primary education.

You can book the start time for a self-guided visit via the educational offer on our website. After that, you may stay as long as you like.

We work on the basis of 1 supervisor for every 10 to 12 pupils/students. Supervisors are responsible for the group’s behaviour during the visit. We expect them to take an active supervisory role and to stay with the group.

At least three weeks in advance. The available dates can be found in the booking system.

In the museum, we work with a maximum group size of 10 to 12 pupils per museum educator.

If your group consists of more pupils, we will schedule a second or third museum educator. A maximum of three museum lessons can take place in the museum at the same time, which means a maximum of 36 pupils.

We appreciate it if the groups are divided in advance.

Groups 1 to 4: 1 supervisor per 4 pupils
Groups 5 and 6: 1 supervisor per 6 pupils
Groups 7 and 8: 1 supervisor per 10 pupils
Secondary education, vocational education and higher professional education: 1 supervisor per 10 to 12 pupils/students

Bringing more supervisors is not a problem. All supervisors have free admission.

We expect supervisors to take an active supervisory role during the visit and to stay with the group.

You can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge up to four working days in advance. After that, we will charge the full cost of the programme.

Yes, we are happy to think along with you about the possibilities. For example, we can connect the visit to specific themes, subjects or courses. Please contact us at educatie@museumdefundatie.nl.

A one-hour educational programme costs €80 per group of around 10 to 12 pupils. If you are visiting with more people, we will charge for multiple groups.

Examples:
For 24 pupils, an educational programme costs €160.
For 30 pupils, an educational programme costs €240.

Pupils aged 18 and under, as well as accompanying supervisors, have free admission. Students aged 18 and over pay the student rate. Students of ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle have free admission.

You can pay online at the end of the booking process.

For secondary education and vocational education, it is also possible to pay using the CJP culture budget. See below.

Yes, for secondary education and vocational education it is possible to pay using the CJP culture budget. Please provide the school number and the name of the budget holder when making your booking. We will then prepare the web order for you in the online CJP environment.

It is helpful if you arrive about 10 minutes in advance. This gives you enough time to store coats and bags and to use the toilet.

If you are visiting Museum de Fundatie Heino with your class, please bear in mind that the castle is about a 10-minute walk from the car park.

Museum de Fundatie Zwolle:
Before 11:00, you can use the rear entrance on Potgieterssingel.After 11:00, you can enter through the main entrance. You can register your group at the museum desk.

Museum de Fundatie Heino:
You can register your group at the museum desk in the building on the left after the entrance.

This is not possible at our museum locations. In consultation, it is possible to have a picnic with your class in the garden of Museum de Fundatie Heino or in the workshop room. Please mention this in the comments field when making your booking.
