Appointment: Rinette van der Vliet

Rinette van der Vliet was director-director for more than six years at Cultuurplein, a centre for cultural education and participation in the North Veluwe region. She professionalised this arts centre - active in the education, leisure and social domains of the municipalities of Heerde, Epe, Hattem and Oldebroek - into a thriving and well-run organisation. She also chairs the platform art culture and heritage (PKCE) in the municipality of Heerde and founded the Cultural Festival Heerde foundation. In Zwolle, Van der Vliet is also known as chair of the Vereniging Openluchtbad Zwolle, where, among other things, she participated in the creation of theatre production WE ZWEMMEN NOG with theatre the Makkers and won the national Heritage Volunteer Award in 2022 with this association. Van der Vliet has a background in Romance languages and cultures, communication and change management.

In the new year, Van der Vliet will complete the process of professionalising the museum's operational management that has begun. Together with Beatrice von Bormann, she will also develop the framework conditions to realise Museum de Fundatie's new ambitions.
