The striking building that houses Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle was originally a 200-year-old courthouse. Since 2013, the building has been spectacularly extended with the construction of ‘de Wolk’ on the roof. The enormous oval window offers a beautiful view of Zwolle’s historic city centre.
During Open Monument Day, you can join free guided tours. Admission is free on this day, so that, apart from the tour and the building itself, you can also view the exhibitions and enjoy the view from the museum café in ‘de Wolk’.
Free guided tours start every hour from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm. Please sign up on the spot at the entrance, as there is a maximum number of participants.
