Create your own virtual world, just like the artist Miguel Chevalier does.
During this holiday activity, you’ll get to work with a pair of virtual reality (VR) headsets and create a world in which nature comes to life digitally. In the work Meta-Nature AI, Chevalier creates plants and flower-like forms devised by an algorithm, not by nature. Now it’s your turn to step into the role of that algorithm. What would you grow if there were no rules about what a plant or animal should look like? Be inspired by the exhibition Digital by Nature and let’s get started!
This activity is organized in collaboration with Kunsteducatie Nederland and relates to the exhibition Digital by Nature.
The workshop is free with a valid museum ticket.
