A new website

4 June 2026 – Museum de Fundatie launches its brand-new website today. The website has been created in Museum de Fundatie’s new visual identity.

Museum de Fundatie has a new website: fresher, clearer and with more room for everything that makes the museum what it is: art, makers, visitors, stories, locations and encounters. The new website was designed and built by the creative studio Avec Sans, and the content was edited by KV Kennisontwikkeling.

Visitors to the new website can find their way more easily to everything there is to see and do. Not only at the museum in Zwolle and at Kasteel het Nijenhuis in Heino/Wijhe, but also along Kunstwegen and at other locations where Museum de Fundatie is on location. Practical information about opening hours, tickets, accessibility and how to get here is clearly presented, making it easier to plan your visit.

More to discover

But the website is more than a practical guide. There is also plenty of room for stories and background. In new sections, you can read the stories behind exhibitions, meet artists, discover how artworks and exhibitions come into being, and dive into the history of the museum and its collection.

Families, schools and visitors with accessibility needs also have a clearer place on the website. Under the heading Art without barriers, Museum de Fundatie shows how it is working to make a visit pleasant, understandable and welcoming for as many people as possible.

There is also more attention for the full museum experience. A visit to Museum de Fundatie is not only about looking at art, but also about wandering through remarkable buildings, walking through the sculpture garden, talking things over in the museum café, taking something home from the museum shop or joining an activity.

With the new website, Museum de Fundatie wants to give visitors a better sense of the full breadth of the museum. The site reflects the museum’s ambition to be an open, dynamic, connecting and curious place for a wide audience.
