Every first Friday evening of the month, Museum de Fundatie is free to visit during Fundatie Friday. Between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, you can enjoy a varied programme free of charge, including live music, performances, lectures, guided tours and interviews connected to the themes of the current exhibitions.

Children and young people under 18 always have free admission to the museum. Do you have a disability and are you visiting with a companion or carer? Your companion may enter the museum free of charge. Are you a Friend of the Fundatie? Then you also always have free admission. You can become a Friend for €40 per year, or €65 for two people.

Are you visiting the museum with a group of ten or more people? If so, please let us know at least three weeks in advance. You can find more information about this on our group visit page.

We also offer guided tours and a special programme for schools. For people with a visual impairment, we organise sensory guided tours.

Pets are not allowed in Museum de Fundatie Zwolle. Officially trained assistance dogs are welcome in the museum.

Coming by train? Museum de Fundatie is about a 12-minute walk from Zwolle railway station. 

There are four parking facilities near the museum. They are close to the A28 exit and within walking distance of Museum de Fundatie:

• Maagjesbolwerk: 350 metres, about 5 minutes’ walk
• Burg. Van Rooijensingel: 450 metres, about 6 minutes’ walk
• Emmawijk: 550 metres, about 7 minutes’ walk
• Katwolderplein: 600 metres, about 8 minutes’ walk

Please note: parking at the museum, on Potgietersingel, is limited to a maximum of 60 minutes.

Museum de Fundatie Zwolle is easily accessible with a manual or electric wheelchair and with a walker. The museum in Zwolle is partly accessible with a mobility scooter, depending on its size. This may vary per exhibition. Please contact us for more information. The museum has a wheelchair-accessible toilet with support rails.

Do you not use a wheelchair, but find walking or standing for a long time difficult? We will be happy to help. Wheelchairs are available to borrow at the museum. You can reserve one in advance by calling +31 572 388188. Gallery stools are also available at the desk, so you can sit down whenever you like and enjoy the artworks at your own pace.

At Museum de Fundatie Zwolle, there are several designated parking spaces for visitors with a disabled parking permit. These spaces can be found on Potgietersingel, 2 spaces, and on Blijmarkt, 2 spaces.

Museum de Fundatie Zwolle has a museum bar on the third floor, with a beautiful view over Zwolle’s city centre. The bar is easily accessible, including for visitors using a wheelchair or walker. You can enjoy a drink and something sweet here, but at the moment there are no lunch options in the museum itself.
